Dr. David Fossett
Dr. David Fossett completed his undergraduate education at Brown University and then went on to receive his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Southern California Dental School.
In addition to attending top universities for his education, David has been fortunate to have his father Dr. Douglas Fossett as a real-world mentor following graduation. Dr. David has developed the same patient-centered, quality approach to dentistry which has made our practice successful for over 35 years.
Dr. David has also taken a particular interest in newer treatments like cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry; and in general, prides himself on remaining well-read and current on all aspects of general dentistry. He has volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic in San Diego, Rotary Society clinics in Mexico, and continues to serve as an active mentor at the Grossmont R.O.P. Dental Assisting School. Dr. David is married to Lauren, they have two young children, and outside the office Dr. David is a devoted family man.
Dr. David Fossett purchased the practice from Dr. Douglas Fossett in February 2013. Douglas happily remains at the practice, enjoying a well-earned part-time schedule.
For more complicated periodontal and implant surgeries, we have partnered with a seasoned periodontist with over 20 years experience, an excellent chairside manner, and a conservative approach that agrees with our practice philosophy. Our patients can receive this specialty treatment in the comfort of our more familiar office, with improved coordination of treatment staging. These types of treatments involve close coordination between the hygenist and restoring dentist and are best handled in the office. For other speciality treatment needs, we refer out to a variety of other qualified specialists.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. If there are any questions you may have about our services, please let us know. We look forward to helping you in any way we can.
